Terms & Conditions
Effective Date: September 30, 2026
Last Updated: September 30, 2026
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Dreamscape Event Rentals website and your interactions with Dreamscape Event Rentals (“Dreamscape,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
By using this website, you agree to these Terms. These website Terms do not replace the specific quotation, booking agreement, invoice, or other written agreement that may apply to an event booking.
1. Website Use
This website is provided to help customers learn about Dreamscape Event Rentals, compare available experiences, view examples of our work, check availability, and submit inquiries.
You may use this website only for lawful purposes.
You must not attempt to interfere with the website, gain unauthorized access to its systems, introduce malicious software, scrape or misuse website content, impersonate another person, submit fraudulent information, or use the website in a way that could damage Dreamscape or other users.
2. Services and Website Information
Dreamscape provides photo booth and related event experiences in Alberta.
Information on this website is intended to provide a general description of our services. Packages, equipment, features, add-ons, pricing, availability, travel requirements, and other details may vary depending on the event, location, date, venue, and selected experience.
Photographs, videos, galleries, layouts, and event examples are intended to illustrate our work. The exact appearance of an event setup may vary based on the package selected, venue conditions, customer selections, available equipment, customization, and other event-specific requirements.
We will not knowingly represent a feature, package, price, availability, client relationship, venue relationship, or service capability that does not exist.
3. Inquiries and Availability
Submitting an inquiry through this website does not create a booking or guarantee availability.
An event date is not reserved solely because an inquiry has been submitted, a conversation has occurred, or a quote has been requested.
A booking becomes confirmed only when the requirements stated in Dreamscape's applicable quotation or booking agreement have been completed, which may include accepting the booking agreement and paying the required deposit or other amount.
Until the booking is confirmed, availability may change.
4. Quotes and Booking Agreements
Event-specific terms will be provided through the applicable quotation, booking agreement, invoice, or other written confirmation.
Those documents may contain information concerning:
- the selected experience and services;
- event date and location;
- setup and service requirements;
- pricing and applicable taxes;
- optional add-ons;
- deposits and payment schedules;
- cancellation or rescheduling;
- venue requirements;
- travel or location-specific charges where applicable; and
- other terms particular to the event.
If there is a conflict between these website Terms and a specific signed or accepted booking agreement, the event-specific booking agreement will govern to the extent of the conflict, subject always to applicable law.
5. Pricing
Prices displayed on this website may be identified as starting prices.
A starting price represents an available starting configuration of the applicable service. Optional upgrades and add-ons may increase the total price.
Applicable sales tax may be added unless expressly stated otherwise.
Where an event requires additional costs because of its location, venue requirements, requested services, or other event-specific circumstances, those costs will be disclosed before the customer completes the booking and will be reflected in the applicable quote or booking agreement.
Dreamscape will not intentionally advertise a price that is unavailable because of undisclosed mandatory fees.
The total amount payable for an event will be the amount disclosed in the applicable quote, booking agreement, invoice, or other booking confirmation.
6. Payments
Payment requirements, including deposits, balances, payment deadlines, accepted payment methods, and any other event-specific payment terms, will be stated in the applicable booking agreement or invoice.
Customers are responsible for reviewing those terms before completing a booking.
Dreamscape will not charge a customer for an optional service or add-on that the customer has not agreed to purchase.
7. Cancellations, Rescheduling and Refunds
Cancellation, rescheduling, refund, deposit, and payment-transfer terms vary depending on the particular booking and will be disclosed in the applicable booking agreement.
Nothing in these Terms or in a Dreamscape booking agreement is intended to remove or limit any cancellation, refund, or other consumer right that cannot lawfully be waived under applicable legislation.
Where applicable law gives a customer rights beyond those stated in a booking agreement, applicable law will govern.
8. Information Provided by Customers
Customers are responsible for providing reasonably accurate information when submitting an inquiry or completing a booking, including contact information, event date, event location, selected services, venue information, and other details reasonably necessary for Dreamscape to plan the event.
If important event information changes after booking, the customer should notify Dreamscape as soon as reasonably possible.
Material changes to the event may affect availability, logistics, services, or pricing. Any resulting changes will be communicated before additional charges or materially different services are agreed to.
9. Venue and Event Requirements
Certain services may depend on venue access, suitable placement, electrical access, setup conditions, event timing, venue rules, or other logistical requirements.
Event-specific requirements will be communicated where applicable.
Customers are responsible for obtaining any permission that they are required to obtain from a venue or other event operator for Dreamscape to provide the booked services.
Dreamscape will not represent that a venue has approved a particular setup unless that approval has actually been obtained.
10. Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise stated, the Dreamscape website and its original content—including text, branding, graphics, designs, layouts, logos, photographs, video, and other materials owned by Dreamscape—are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.
You may view and use the website for personal and legitimate business-inquiry purposes.
You may not reproduce, sell, republish, distribute, commercially exploit, or falsely claim ownership of Dreamscape-owned content without authorization.
Third-party trademarks, photographs, creative work, and other materials remain the property of their respective owners.
11. Event Photography, Video and Media
Submitting an inquiry, visiting this website, or booking Dreamscape does not by itself grant Dreamscape unlimited permission to use identifiable event photographs, video, or other customer media for advertising.
Any rights relating to promotional use of identifiable event media may be addressed separately through the applicable booking agreement, media consent, permission from the appropriate rights holder, or another lawful basis.
Where Dreamscape displays event media on this website, we intend to use media that we are authorized to display.
Customers should not submit photographs, logos, designs, trademarks, or other materials for customization unless they have the right to use those materials for the requested purpose.
12. Privacy
Personal information submitted through this website is handled in accordance with Dreamscape's Privacy Policy and applicable privacy law.
We may collect information reasonably required to:
- respond to inquiries;
- prepare quotations;
- administer bookings;
- deliver requested services;
- process transactions;
- communicate about an event;
- operate and improve the website;
- maintain business records; and
- comply with legal obligations.
Please review the separate Privacy Policy for more information about how personal information is collected, used, disclosed, retained, and protected.
13. Electronic Communications and Marketing
When you submit an inquiry or book an event, Dreamscape may contact you as reasonably necessary to respond to the inquiry, provide requested information, administer the booking, and provide the requested services.
Submitting an inquiry does not automatically enrol you in unrelated promotional marketing.
Where consent is required by law before Dreamscape sends commercial electronic marketing messages, Dreamscape will obtain or rely on a lawful basis for that communication as applicable.
Where required, marketing communications will provide an appropriate way to unsubscribe.
14. Third-Party Services and Links
This website may use or link to services operated by third parties, including payment providers, analytics platforms, social networks, mapping services, embedded media, or other technology providers.
Dreamscape does not control independent third-party websites or services and is not responsible for their content, availability, privacy practices, or independent terms.
Use of a third-party service may be subject to that provider's own terms and policies.
15. Website Availability and Accuracy
Dreamscape makes reasonable efforts to keep the website accurate and available, but we do not guarantee that the website will always be uninterrupted or error-free.
Website information may occasionally contain errors or become outdated.
If there is a material discrepancy between website information and an event-specific quote or booking agreement, please contact Dreamscape for clarification before completing the booking.
Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties, remedies, consumer protections, or other rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
16. Consumer Rights and Governing Law
These Terms are intended to operate consistently with applicable consumer-protection legislation.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to waive, restrict, or eliminate a right or remedy that cannot legally be waived.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the applicable federal laws of Canada.
Any dispute will be handled according to applicable law and through a court or other process having lawful jurisdiction.
Nothing in these Terms requires a consumer to waive a legally protected right to bring a dispute before a court or government authority.
17. Changes to These Terms
Dreamscape may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in the website, services, business practices, or applicable law.
The current version will be published on this page with an updated effective or revision date.
Changes will apply prospectively unless applicable law permits or requires otherwise.
Material changes to these website Terms do not automatically modify an already-confirmed event booking where different terms have already been agreed to.
